What we collect

If you join the Convara waitlist, we collect your email address, and — only if you choose to give them — your first name and the role that best describes you. Nothing else. There is no account to create and no payment details to enter.

Why we collect it

To let you know when Convara launches, and to send you occasional updates about the product as we build it. That is the only reason. We will only ever email you about Convara.

How it is stored

Your details are stored securely in our database, hosted by Supabase. Access is restricted to Convara. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. Opening it shows a page with a single “Confirm unsubscribe” button — no login, no reply, nothing to fill in. We ask you to confirm because some email systems open links automatically, and we would rather not unsubscribe you by accident. If your mail app shows its own “Unsubscribe” button next to the sender, that one works in a single tap. Either way, the page afterwards has a one-click way back if you change your mind.

When you unsubscribe we keep your email address, marked as unsubscribed, so we know not to contact you again. If you would rather we deleted it altogether, email us at hello@convara.app and ask us to remove you. We will delete your details from our waitlist.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to count page visits and understand which parts of this site are useful. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you.

We record which page was visited, never the personal parts of the address you arrived on. If a link we emailed you carries a private code — the one in your unsubscribe link, for example — that code is stripped out in your browser before anything is recorded, so it never reaches our analytics at all.

This is a short, honest summary covering the waitlist, which is all Convara does today. It will be expanded into a full privacy policy before the product launches and starts handling participant information.
